POSITION: Sales Operation Analyst

POSITION FUNCTION:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Operations Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will support the sales organization by providing critical insights, developing performance metrics, and ensuring that the sales processes and systems are running smoothly. This role requires a blend of technical skills, business acumen, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to generate actionable insights and reports for sales leadership.
Create and maintain dashboards to track key sales metrics, including pipeline status, win/loss rates, and sales performance.
Sales Process Optimization:
Collaborate with sales,and marketing, to streamline sales processes and remove bottlenecks.
Monitor the sales pipeline and ensure data integrity in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Podio, Hubspot).
Develop and enforce best practices for sales processes, including lead management, deal closure, and customer follow-up.
Systems & Tools Management:
Manage and optimize sales tools and technologies, ensuring they are effectively integrated with other business systems.
Provide training and support to the sales team on tools and processes.
Work with IT to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to sales systems.
Performance Monitoring & Insights:
Analyze sales performance against quotas and targets, providing insights to sales leadership on team performance.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual sales reps and the overall sales team
Collaboration & Communication:
Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, and IT to ensure alignment on strategies and objectives.
Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
Support the sales team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in sales operations, data analysis, or a related field, preferably within the IT industry.
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of SQL or other data manipulation languages is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
